Short bio

I was born in 1976 and started taking my first photographs while studying applied arts in the late 1990s. Since then, photography has become both my profession and a means of expression. I specialise in still life and object photography in a studio setting, and my clients include leading museums, cultural institutions, brands, and creative agencies in Greece. I live and work in Athens, where I grew up.

My most important “study” in photography to this day has been persistence and experimentation. I have worked across various fields, including applied photography (mainly still life), contemporary design objects, architecture, and advertising. I consider the arts and crafts to be communicating vessels, and I enjoy experimenting with their materials. This experimentation continually enriches my perception of light and shapes the way I approach visual composition. I observe the materiality of things with curiosity, and I try to bring that sensibility into my photographs.
